About me
Beth Nguyen is the author of the memoirs Owner of a Lonely Heart and Stealing Buddha’s Dinner, as well as two novels. She has received a Guggenheim award and an American Book Award, and her work has appeared in publications including The New Yorker, Paris Review, Time Magazine, and Best American Essays. She is currently a professor at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where she also directs the MFA Program in Creative Writing.
