Ari Schneider is a senior writer at Mountain Gazette and the author of Stolen Headstones: One Family's Forgotten Holocaust Story. He has contributed to The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Guardian, Slate, Vogue, and Playboy. His work has also appeared alongside stories by Hunter S. Thompson and Edward Abbey in the book Print Ain't Dead, an anthology celebrating 60 years of Mountain Gazette. He holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Tufts University and a master's in journalism from NYU.
